Amusing Advertising

October 30, 2009

In a previous post "The Sound of Music" I'd wished for a similar flash mob to happen right smack in the middle of Raffles Place.

Imagine the grin that spread across my face when PR Agency The Right Spin told me they'd be doing exactly that for HTC. And here's what happened on just another Friday afternoon at Raffles Place...
(btw, thanks to those of you who shared the other links too!)

Who would've thought, eh?

I now wish for a Million Dollars. Mwahahaha.

Million Dollars aside, it's amazing what advertisers can come up with. In Germany, Flies finally find a purpose...

What if they were advertising for a Pest Control Firm? Hahaha. The irony. It kills. (Oops, double pun there.)

PETA ain't gonna be happy about this. Enjoy anyway!

5 Deconstructions to “Amusing Advertising”

    Haha, now THAT'S creative advertising!

btw, for those wondering, the first screen reads
"Eichborn. The publisher with the fly."

The 2 frames at the end say:
"No fly was hurt. The banner was fixed with a little drop of wax. The banner removed after some hours automatically."

Fave comment I've seen - "If there's one thing we've learned about Germany in the 20th Century, it's that they wouldn't hurt a fly."
    LOL

Well, your wish may come true ....one fine day, one fine sponsor or advertisor may decide to drop a $1M sponsorship deal in your pocket to get you to advertise for something ....haha...keep dreaming, thatz what I always do ....thou most of the times, my dreams are dashed.
