I Can Do It Too!

August 7, 2008

My friend is looking for candidates for a new Chinese reality show for Channel 8, titled 'I Can Do It too', scheduled for telecast in January 2009, so I'm just helping her pass the word around.

Basically, the aim of this show is to promote a positive outlook in life as we get older. Instead of feeling that we will no longer able to keep up with the younger generation or stay competitive, the show hopes to inspire older Singaporeans to take up new challenges and maybe even a 2nd career.

Some of the causal activities we are featuring are:

1) Jamming with a young local group
2) Jewelery Design/Making
3) Mountain Trekking
4) Learning to be a pro magician, etc...

We will also have skill upgrading episodes in childcare, hospitality, volunteer work, massage, etc.

I am looking for males and females between age 50-75 (can be your parents, in-laws, grandparents, uncles or aunties), who do not mind going on TV and can speak comfortably in Mandarin. Most importantly, they would like to pick up or upgrade themselves with a new skill or interest.

We will need about 3-4 days of filming with them, they will not be paid but transport allowance will be given and all lessons will be paid for as well.

If they have any queries or question, do get them to call me or email.

Thanks
