Poison

March 13, 2008

Have you ever reached a point in your life where you were so tired that it didn't matter if you lay down amongst stinging nettles?

You're stung and stabbed, poison courses through your veins, your skin is bleeding and ruptured, but you're just too tired to fight or move or defend yourself. Sting me? Okay, so be it.

Nothing matters anymore, except good, sweet rest.

People are the most poisonous substance on this planet. No wonder Mother Earth cries out in pain.

Eternal sleep is a welcome respite from battle.
