I think it was a genuine mistake on their part and they really do seem sorry... joan>> i don't think it was a virus that infected your PC. this page hijacking is only targetted at sites which run bad code, so as long as you avoid those sites, you'll be fine. the adbaaz thingy affects some domains other than advertlets.com, so that could be the reason.
