It's so hard to describe the roller-coaster of emotions last night. But it is definitely a big load off my mind.
It wasn't easy when people asked, "So what do you think are your chances, blablabla..." because frankly speaking, it was really anybody's game. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want it, but at the same time, I was trying so hard to keep things balanced, and trying to manage expectations and everything.
To the audience, it is just entertainment. To some others, it is just a game. But to me, it meant a little bit more, largely in part due to various personal (and private) reasons.
Yes, I was disappointed, not so much because I didn't win, but more so because I felt I had let down a lot of people who were rooting for me. My managers who have been working so hard to help me; Dex, Bryan, Justin, thank you for putting in the effort to make me look good; My family, especially you, Mum. I wanted to be able to say, "我知道你对我入行的选择很担心。可是，今天获得了这个奖，能够让你放心一点。Mum, this is for you." But... not this year; Friends in the media who have been trying to help me; My own friends and supporters (and the NATurals) who have been encouraging me...
...I'm sorry. This "Superman" is not "Super" enough. Having said that though, thank you for believing in me anyway.
Thank you to my wonderful friends who flooded my phone last night. Haha. Really appreciate it, it was very sweet of all of you. But really, I am okay.
To the winner, congrats! I still haven't forgotten the "deal" that we struck. Hahaha. Hope it can come true some day soon ba :)

I was surprised by some colleagues yesterday. What they said/did to me was very unexpected, but left me with a nice and fuzzy feeling. At times like these, the industry doesn't feel so cold. Thank you, you all know who you are. Thanks for being people I can call Friends.
I had fun last night too, at our own post party at L. E, J, P, A, F, F, C, D (wah, sounds like Wheel of Fortune) you guys/gals are gold.
My 讲义气的朋友们, thanks much also. Once again, you all know who you are.

Well, you do have many months/years ahead of you in this line...and like i said before, hardwork will pay off...some pple are lucky than others....
(pardon me) at least you get a shot/chance at this line (definitely with your hardwork) while others (probably some of us out here) aint that fortunate .... we don't even get noticed!
Would you want a 'moment of fame/glory' or a 'lifetime of respect'? You decide.
At the end of the day, personally, i think artistees/celebrities should be grateful to their fans (unless they vote themselves...hahaha)....we have seen it many times at local and international competitions, it is the fans who make/break them.....
hmmm....that's the harsh reality of this line...
award or not, u know we'll still love you! =P
but really, i think award will be a bonus.. other than that, as long as you've worked hard, we've seen it... and we recognise you for ur effort... award will jus be a name, a trophy to place at home? well, that's what i think...
whatever it is... do be happy that you're here doing this job and bringing happiness and joy to many of us out there. stay happy!~
