Lost But Found
Remember just a while back, I said I'd lost my keys?
Two days ago, a mysterious email came in from the daughter of a taxi driver, and the email read:
Like what are the odds lah! No personal identification whatsoever on the keyring as well! Up till now I'm still amazed actually. And they went through so much trouble just to get it returned to me. I feel so blessed.
So anyway, I got more details from her and went down to CityCab today to pick it up.
I'm happy! Not so much because I've found my keys, but more so because kind-hearted people like them have kept me believing in the goodness of Humanity. We are not a lost cause yet! Haha ;)

Hi, I'm the daughter of the taxi driver whose cab you took on the 1st of Nov. My dad returned your keys to the CityCab Customer Service Centre since he was told by the Mediacorp reception that they couldn't do anything about it. Hope this isn't too late.

The driver probably have recognized you and yes, despite the bad things we usually read in the newspapers about taxi drivers, we often remiss the GOOD things about them! Anyway, You're just super lucky!:)

November 19th, 2007 at 3:04 pm LOL. You gonna be one lucky chap! I'm working in citycab & i understand that there're some kindsouls taxi uncles who always return lost stuffs to people. It would be good if you actually compliment this taxi uncle, so that there'll be more such cabbys on the roads. haaz. Glad that you found your keys back! Remember whenever going down the cab, turn your back & check if you left anything behind, or else it's really dreadful to lost things in cabs! tc :D

Glad about it.
You know.. The process of you losing your keys & got them back reminds me of something. Sometimes we will lose our friends due to some misunderstandings or wad, then later a time, we will patch back with our friends by clearing the misunderstanding, we tends to cherish the friend more. =)
Anyway, amazed that you could get back the keys, even when there is no personal identification. Well, you know from here that someone up there is looking after you, protecting, blessing you up above the sky! =)
