Recruit Reporting!
Recruit Poh Mun Kwok reporting for duty, Sir!
Yes, I've finally had time to upload pictures from the filming on Tekong, so here goes:

Before & After
A 5-minute haircut makes such a big difference! Before & After picture was taken on the very same day.
Director Wen Wen was so inspired by my haircut that she went to shave too! ...Okay okay, so I didn't inspire her to shave. She had already been thinking about it since the Children's Cancer foundation drive last year, and Wenyong-ge's goading put the nail in the coffin. She said, "Okay! I'll shave!" and ran down the bus. The Tekong barber was shocked at her request and initially didn't wanna do it because they thought she was joking. But she said, "Quick, quick, before I change my mind!"
And with those words, the deed was done. As the razor came roaring down, all the spectators let out a collective gasp of shock - and then burst into cheers. Haha. She's damn cool I tell you!

Two (Shaved) Heads are Better than One...
The above pictures were taken April 13th, after which Studio continued. Last week, we resumed the Tekong segment and here are more pics:

Background: Wen Wen & AD Mei An
Foreground: Dag, Myself, Wen Wei
Dag and Wen Wei are part of the chaperone team that follows us around army camps. They are very important because they ensure that us "recruits" won't kenna makan by the patrolling officers and sergeants. On an island where everyone has the same hair and same clothes, mistaken identity is a common occurrence. Haha.

Again, with our chaperone team and the addition of Major Audrey
I had some recruits asking me, "That lady Major, is she an actor or a real Major?"
-____-"
Yes, she is very much a real Major. Luckily she didn't hear, if not you all will die until very ugly!!! Mwahahahhaa. Kidding. She's damn nice lah, and they really take very very good care of us whenever we go to the camps.
It feels good to go back to Tekong as a civilian and not a soldier. Seriously, it's quite a nice place and not all that bad. Our soldiers really have it good man. Of course back when I was in NS, it felt like sh.. -oops- I mean it felt horrible. But on hindsight, it really wasn't that bad. Then again, hindsight is a beautiful thing to have because you know that experience is in the past and it can't touch you no more. Well... at least till the next ICT (In-Camp Training). Hahaha...
The above two pictures were taken at about 5 or 6 in the morning. That's not all, we were actually filming overnight since 1030 pm. None of us had any sleep. Quite xiong huh? Best part was, after filming in Tekong that same morning, I had to rush down for a fashion shoot. Thankfully, everything went smoothly. It was a real adrenaline kick though, and the rest of the day was hazy because I was just functioning. I don't think I even knew what I was doing. Hahaha.

POP day!
With Dag and Feroz, who plays PC Lta Hadi in the show
And that's it for now.
