Bleach

[Phone rings]

"Hello?"

"Hi Nat, it's Justin."

"Oh, hello! What's up?"

"Can I meet you tomorrow to do the hair for your imaging?"

"Can, can. What do you need me to do?"

"We need you to highlight your hair..."

My first thought was: Die, Ark is going to kill me!

[Flashback to previous hair appointment]

"You sure you want to do permanent jet-black ah?"

"Yah. Coz' semi-permanent one, the blue-black always fades quite fast leh. And besides, I don't foresee any changes to color lor..."

[Cut to present day]

Dang. I spoke too soon.

And so I made the appointment and met with the I-Told-You-So(s) and then it was decided that highlights weren't enough so they decided to do the whole head. Which also meant that I had to bleach.

For a moment, I looked like my favourite orange-haired character in anime-series Bleach (pardon the pun, haha), Kurosaki Ichigo. I thought the hair was pretty cool, so I said, "Hey, I think it looks pretty cool! Also suits the Poly-student image that you all want right?"

Justin: "No lor. More like ITE."

Me: "..."

Yeah so anyways we added the color (Olive Brown) and the final result looks something like this:

Color's a bit dark. It will probably fade a tone or two before settling into the final color. But I like it anyways.

They say that people in a crisis tend to do things to their hair. I did my hair twice in a week. Says quite a bit, doesn't it?

*Wry smile*

Well, screw it. I think the least we can do for ourselves is to treat ourselves nicer when things go wrong. No point beating yourself up when the World already beat you to it.

And yes, that's something to think about.

    ced>> clarins institut lor, lol. that might be a bit expensive though, but they have another version (if i'm not wrong) at the normal clarins counter at places like Isetan. the other day i just saw someone doing facial at the counter itself. in fact nowadays a lot of places have these kind of facial stuff at counters, mostly to cater to the younger teenage crowd. prices are also quite affordable i think, although i don't have quotes.
